Android and Apple users who want a current app with recording, downloads and a full EPG clearly listed by the publisher.
iMPlayer now presents itself across Android, Android TV, Apple TV, iPhone and iPad. Its official site lists M3U support, live television, movies, series, recording, downloads and a full programme guide. Separate Google Play listings serve television and mobile contexts.
The maintenance signal is unusually fresh: the mobile Android listing was updated days before this review. Its Google Play ratings are also favourable on meaningful samples. Those ratings are useful context, not evidence that the app will perform identically with every user-supplied source.
