Who TiviMate is for

Android TV users who want a mature remote-control interface, multiview, recording and playlist management.

TiviMate is built for televisions rather than touch screens. Its official product page and Google listing document M3U playlists, Xtream Codes, Stalker Portal, multiple playlists, EPG, catch-up, recording, favourites, parental controls and multiview.

The focused design is a strength when the task is navigating a programme grid with a remote. It is also the reason TiviMate does not rank near the top overall: the publisher explicitly says the app is intended for Android TV devices and does not provide television sources.

Why it ranks #7

Feature and source scores are high because the public list covers most advanced living-room requirements. Maintenance was current in June 2026, and the product’s long-standing Google Play presence provides a clearer distribution trail than apps circulated through third-party APK sites.

A platform weight of 25 percent is consequential by design. An Android TV specialist cannot match products that support television, phone and desktop platforms, even if its remote interface may be preferable on the one device it targets.
