Editorial Policy

Primary sources first

Feature, platform, price and privacy claims should come from publisher-controlled pages, verified app-store listings or official technical documentation. We do not use reseller copy, provider setup pages or APK mirrors to establish product capability. A source register is maintained for every profile.

When two official sources conflict, the newer and more specific one normally governs. We describe the conflict when it matters. Missing documentation is uncertainty; it is not evidence that a feature cannot exist.

Scoring and rankings

The seven-category formula is public on the methodology page. The site’s publisher makes the final editorial judgment and does not claim independent certification or laboratory neutrality. Store ratings, search traffic and outbound clicks are excluded from the score.

Every review must include strengths, limitations and a fair reason that another product could be preferable. We do not publish an “aggregate user rating” derived from our own score, and we do not mark an app down for refusing to bundle television content.

Editorial responsibility

David Moore reviews the source register, applies the scoring model and approves the final page. Claims must map to the evidence register, and the copy must avoid unsupported certainty. Readers can request a correction when a source changes or a statement is inaccurate.

Links and commercial treatment

Ordinary editorial links to official websites and app stores are not automatically marked nofollow. If a link becomes paid, sponsored or affiliate-tracked, it must be labelled for readers and use the appropriate sponsored relationship attribute. The current edition contains no paid placement.

Click analytics may record the app, rank, destination type, platform label and placement. They do not alter the order readers see.

Corrections

Send corrections to [email protected] with the affected URL and a primary source. Identity and unsafe-download issues are handled first. Material corrections receive a new visible modified date; new pages are never backdated.
